The show was called “Make the Cut” or some such nonsense. He showed up looking like a guy straight out of 1968, with hair down to his waist and a handle bar mustache. He was one of only 2 white guys in the whole place. When his name was called to take his turn Coolio who was one of the judges was like “who the F is Spooky Jones?”, then when Jones got up on stage he was baffled. lol Television Child was the song he sang, then did a short interview with one of the producers afterward. They didn’t pick him. Oh well…
